WeldingCalculators.com is a free set of calculators for welders, fabricators, students, shops and anyone estimating welding work. Each tool shows its formula, the units it uses and a worked example, so you can check the math yourself.

How the calculators work

All calculations run in your browser. Nothing you type is sent anywhere or stored. Where a result depends on a value we can't know for you, such as deposition efficiency or a thermal efficiency factor, the calculator asks you for it instead of guessing.

What they don't do

These tools don't give welding settings, preheat temperatures, procedures or weld strength. They are not a substitute for an approved WPS, AWS or ASME requirements, applicable codes, manufacturer instructions, engineering requirements or a qualified professional.
